All Creatures Country Club Dog Trainer Intern Program
Have you always wanted to become a dog trainer?
We have a live in dog trainer apprentice position available at our All Creatures Country Club Training Center.
There is no compensation for this position, you will receive room & board in exchange for your labor with everything that needs done, and you will be required to study materials presented and pass written and practical exams.
As an Approved applicant you will move in and immerse yourself in the kennel business and the science of dog training for one "55 week" Apprentice Year.
You will be exposed to many different breeds, ages, and temperaments of dogs, both in our kennels and training center.
You will work with dog owners, and gain experience teaching classes and private sessions.
Apprentice Dog Trainer Program
You will work 30+ hours per week in exchange for the education and experience you receive with hands on kennel, basic grooming, and dog trainer training.
Let me repeat, there is no pay for your hours, you will receive room & board in exchange for your work and training.
Once you are becoming proficient, you will be assigned to work with clients in-home training their dogs and be paid for that.
You will be encouraged to find part-time work in town or on surrounding farms. There is usually an opportunity to serve as a trail-guide at a local horse riding stable.
Besides applying through our regular application process, we require you maintain medical insurance on yourself for the term of our contract, and a resume' must be mailed to us.
